Crock Pot Italian Beef Stew Recipe

ingredients for 1 servings :

1 rump roast, 3 5 lbs
1 pkg Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix
1 c water
1 pkg au jus gravy packet
2 tsps Italian seasoning
6 peperoncini peppers
Mix together water, gravy mix, dressing and Italian seasoning. Pour
over roast in Crock Pot. Add peppers, if desired. Cook on LOW about 2
h. Break up roast and cook 1 h more.

NOTES: can also be made with 4 lb chuck roast, 1 pkg dressing mix and
1/2 cup water.

Easy Crock Pot Chicken Stew

1 large can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 large can low fat cream of mushroom soup
1 large can low fat cream of celery soup
1 bag of frozen mixed veggies
2 chicken breasts, cut into bite sized pieces
1 cup low fat milk
salt and pepper to taste

Mix the cans of soup and the milk in a Crock Pot. Add the tomatoes,
spices and chicken and stir. Add the veggies and stir. Cook on low heat until
the chicken is cooked (approx 5 - 6 hours).

The beauty of this recipe is you can vary the kind of soup and spices
to create a variation to suit your own tastebuds!

Crock Pot Chili

ingredients for 1 servings :

1 1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 c chopped celery
1/2 c chopped mushroom
3/4 c chopped onion
1 bay leaf
2 tb chili powder
1 ts garlic powder
1 ts salt
1 ts paprika
1/2 c bbq sauce
16 oz tomato sauce
28 oz stewed tomatoes
15 1/2 oz kidney beans
1 ts red cayenne pepper
Brown beef, drain fat & put in Crock Pot. Add rest of ingredients,
except kidney beans. Cook on low 8 10 hours or on high for 5 6 hours.
Stir occasionally. Add beans about 1 1/2 hours before you serve.

Crock Pot Boston Baked Beans Recipe

ingredients for 8 servings :

1 lb Dried Navy beans
2 Onions, chopped
1/2 c Brown sugar
1/4 c Molasses
1/3 c Catsup
1/4 lb Bacon, diced
1 tb Salt
1 1/2 ts Dry mustard
1/4 ts Pepper

Soak beans in water overnight. Drain and put all ingredients in
cooker. Add 1 cup water and stir to blend. Cover and cook on low 10
to 12 hours. Can also spice it up with a few cloves of garlic, a half
teaspoon of powdered ginger, and a good dash of Worchestershire
sauce. As an option, stir in 1 cup drained pineapple chuncks during
the last hour of cooking for a delicious fruity flavor.

Crock Pot Apple Butter

3 pounds apples (Granny Smith)
3 cups sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon cloves
dash of salt
3/4 cup of water

Fill Crock Pot 3/4 full of peeled, cored and sliced apples. Mix
spices with sugar; add to apples and stir. Cover and cook on low heat
overnight. If apple butter has too much liquid, remove lid and cook
on high until desired consistency.

Basket idea: jar of apple butter, apple muffins and tea mix or apple

Crock Pot Pizza

ingredients for 1 servings :

1 1/2 lb Ground meat
1 cn Pizza sauce (14 oz)
1 pk Noodles (12 oz)
4 oz Cheese, mozzarella
1 x Mushrooms
1 x Onion
1 cn Spaghetti sauce (14 oz)
4 oz Cheese, cheddar
1 pk Pepperoni; sliced
1 x Green peppers
Brown meat and onion. Drain grease. Add sauces. Simmer. Boil noodles until tender; drain. In Crock Pot, put a layer of noodles, meat
mixture, cheeses and pepperoni. Repeat layer one more time. Cook on
high for 30 minutes, then on low for 1 hour or until cheese melts.
This may also be baked in a 350 oven until cheese melts.. .

Sweet & Sour Chicken Crock Pot

ingredients for 4 servings :

1 Carrot; cut in pieces
1 Green pepper; cut in pieces
1 Med Onion; quartered
2 tb Tapioca; quick cooking
4 Chicken breasts boned, cut
8 oz Pineapple chunks; canned un
1/3 c Dark brown sugar; firmly pa
1/3 c Red wine vinegar
1 tb Soy sauce
1 ts Chicken bouillon; instant g
1/2 ts Garlic powder
2 tb Ginger root; fresh, minced
1 ts Dried cilantro or 10 leaves
Rice; hot cooked

For Crock Pot cooking Put bottom of Crock Pot. Sprinkle tapioca over vegetables. Place chicken atop vegs. Combine all other ingreds.
except rice in a small bowl. Pour over chicken. Cover Crock Pot and
turn to low and cook for 8 10 hours. Before serving make rice. Serve
over rice. Leftovers can be reheated in microwave. To cook in oven
Put vegetables in bottom of a greased pan. Sprinkle vegs. with
tapioca. Add chicken to pan. Combine all other ingreds. except rice
in a small bowl. Pour over chicken. Cover pan tightly with foil. Bake
in 300 deg. oven for 2 hours. Before serving make rice. Serve over
rice. Leftovers can be reheated in microwave. *You can also use 2 T.
chopped candied ginger.

Crock Pot Chicken Paprika

12 pieces of chicken breast strips (not entire breast)
4 medium sized potaotes, sliced (skins left on by choice)
4 medium onions, peeled and sliced
1 cup of water
3 Tablespoons oil

Place four chicken strips in the bottom of the Crock Pot. Sprinkle
with Paprika. Then cover with a layer of potatoes. Cover the potatos
with layer of onions. Add 1 tablespoon of oil. Then sprinkle
generously with Paprika. Then start over with the four chicken strips
and follow the steps above again for three complete layers. Pour cup
of water into Crock Pot (down sides so not to wash off the Paprika).
Cook on high temperature 6-8 hours. *You can use different vegetables
if you would like. Carrot slices work well.

Crock Pot Corned Beef And Cabbage

4 1/2 lb Corned beef brisket
2 md Onions -- quartered
1 ea. Cabbage head
Cut in small wedges
1/2 ts Pepper
3 tb Vinegar
3 tb Sugar
2 c Water


Combine ingredients in removable liner with cabbage on top.
Cut meat to fit, if necessary.
Place liner in base.
Cover and cook on low 10-12 hours; high 6-7 hours or auto 6-8 hours.

Crock Pot Carmel Apples

2 pk Caramels, 14oz each
1/4 c Water
8 md Apples

In Crock Pot, combine caramels and water. Cover and cook on high for 1to 1 1/2 hours, stirring frequently. Wash and dry apples. Insert
stick into stem end of each apple. Turn control on low. Dip apple
into hot caramel and turn to coat entire surface. Holding apple above
pot, scrape off excess accumulation of caramel from bottom apple.
Place on greased wax paper to cool.

Crock Pot Beef And Potatoes

2 lb Lean ground beef
1 cn Condensed tomato soup
1 ts Salt
6 Medium potatoes
1/2 ts Pepper
1 c Light cream
1/4 c Finely chopped onions


In large skillet or crock-pot with browning unit, brown beef; break
up large chunks with fork.
Pour off excess fat.
In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, onion, and undiluted
Peel and slice potatoes.
In Crock Pot arrange alternate layers of potatoes and meat, with
potatoes on bottom.
Pour soup mixture over.
Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
Turn control to high.
Pour cream over all; cover and cook on high for 15 to 20 min.
Makes 6 servings.

Crock Pot Perfect Meatloaf Recipes

1 1/2 lb Ground beef
1 Egg, beaten
1/2 c Bread crumbs
1/2 c Tomato juice
3 tb Chopped onion
3 tb Chopped bell pepper
3 tb Chopped celery
2 ts Seasoned salt
1/4 ts Thyme
Catsup or chili sauce


Using a fork, mix all the ingredients, except the catsup and pepper
Shape into a loaf and put into greased Crock Pot.
Top with catsup and pepper rings.
Cover and cook on high for 1 hour, then on low 6 to 8 hours.
Quartered potatoes coated with butter may also be cooked with this
A dash of Paprika will give them a nice browned look.
